FORT WORTH, Texas – Four RFD-TV The American Semi-Finals, presented by Dish, preliminary events took place on Wednesday, February 21 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The team roping preliminary rounds, including the two-header and buy back event, wrapped up at Will Rogers Memorial Center. The tie-down roping preliminaries featured 175 entries and ran all day at Cowtown Coliseum. Tie-down roping preliminaries conclude tomorrow at Will Roger Memorial Center with the buy back event.
The Steer Wrestling Buy Back was held at Shepard’s Valley Cowboy Church Arena in Alvarado, Texas. The completion of those events’ preliminaries set the roster of contestants going through to the semi finals rodeo performances starting at 7 p.m. at Cowtown Coliseum on Thursday and Friday.
The barrel racing buy back is scheduled for Thursday at 8 a.m. at Cowtown Coliseum.

The first round of The American Semi-Finals Bull Riding heated up the chilly night in Fort Worth when Cody Nance rode H.D. Page’s #584C for 88.75 points. Seventeen riders covered their bulls to advance to the semi-finals on Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m. at Cowtown Coliseum. Full results are as follows:
